As boring as waiting for Lucky Boards are, I have to admit that waiting for Mr.Poet’s skins are totally worth it.
Hair Fair was…well, it was alright.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, it was great for girls. If you’re a girl and you like to have lots of different hairstyles, then this is the place to be. There were so many different styles of hairs, it was crazy. And there are tons of high quality hair makers there. And lots of good freebies, too.
But, if you’re a guy, you might consider not going. There were a meager amount of male hairs there. A few stores had them. Cheerno, [INK], COLORS, Argrace, KMADD and Entente were there. I found a new store called Amacci that was great, and one called [Gauze]. There was also a store that had unisex hair for persons of color and one that sold only mohawks. (I should also note that KMADDS store only had mohawks, too. Not a fan of mohawks, personally.) And there was a unisex store called :F@C: Oh, and a store that sold male and female bandanas. Other than that, there were maybe two or three stores that had one male hair available. But, overall, it’s not really worth it, in my opinion.
I dunno. For a fair that had 82 stores, the fact that 15 stores, more or less, had male hairs is kind of a bummer. Anyways, I didn’t go away empty handed, though. I did find some nice stuff:
So, for those of you who do decide to brave the lag to go to the fair, good luck.
It’s been around for a few weeks, but it ends on the 15th of July. I’ve been playing the Mass Effect series obsessively so I haven’t been on SL, but I’m definitely coming back for this hunt. :D
Here’s a link to the hunt, for anyone interested: http://makehimover.mhoh.net/p/mhoh7.html
So, I actually invested in a The Body Co. skin, because so many blogs mention it….but I honestly don’t like it all that much. They’re a bit creepy. xD
When I was exploring, I found this great country sim. It’s really nice.
